A Message from the TRLA Board of Directors

The TRLA Board previously voted to formally disband the existing Timberlake Trails Ad Hoc Committee following the conclusion of its authorized activities.

We sincerely appreciate the time, effort, and contributions of everyone who volunteered and participated in the committee’s activities.

As we approach the next trail season in 2027, the Board intends to seek volunteers for a newly established Timberlake Trails Ad Hoc Committee, with clearly defined projects, responsibilities, and Board oversight.

Prior to accepting new members, the Board will establish and communicate specific operating guidelines, standards of conduct, ethical expectations, and procedures for obtaining authorization before undertaking any trail-related activities. These requirements will apply equally to all volunteers and are intended to promote accountability, transparency, safety, and compliance with TRLA governing documents and applicable laws.

All interested landowners are certainly welcome and encouraged to apply when volunteer opportunities become available. Participation will be subject to the established committee guidelines and Board approval.

We look forward to continuing improvements to the Timberlake trail system through a structured, cooperative, and Board-authorized process.
